JOB TITLE: Systems Analyst - PLM

REPORTS TO: Lead, Configuration and Document Management

SALARY: $70,000 - $90,000 annual

EFFECTIVE DATE: 8/4/2023

SUMMARY: A detail-oriented PLM systems analyst to support and maintain the TeamCenter PLM environment for the engineering and product development team. The PLM Systems Analyst is responsible for overseeing the configuration and release management activities within the engineering design team\xe2\x80\x99s workflow. Primary focus will be to ensure the integrity and accuracy of our PLM system, while facilitating seamless collaboration and efficient processes across various teams. Duties include administering part numbers, tracking completion of engineering change orders, supporting BOM development, managing engineering data and its integration with downstream tools, and providing expertise on PLM TeamCenter.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides management and administrative support for the PLM system, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and availability.
  • Manage transactional day-to-day PLM activities for Part Number, ECO (Engineering Change Order), MCO (Manufacturing Change Order), BOM (Bill of Material) releases and other Document Control Operations or related PLM efforts.
  • Administer new part number (PN) set-up for parts and components
  • Manage all engineering data and design various downstream tools for all PLM processes, troubleshooting tactical issues from downstream tools, fully understand of downstream tools impact e.g., PLEX, Oracle NetSuite, and PowerBI data analytics
  • Responsible for maintaining organized and updated documents using document management software. (Preferably TeamCenter, NetSuite)
  • Provides deep dive support in cross functional participation including mass cleanup efforts and process change, coordination and adherence.
  • Provide product expertise as it relates to PLM upgrades and new system development initiatives.
  • Participate in executing and tracking completion of engineering change orders (ECR-ECO)
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (B.S.) in related field or equivalent, two to four years related
experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in BOM management and part number creation
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite and PLEX
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing
priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and
committees.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, PowerBI, 365 Tools, TeamCenter
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to write clear technical documentation.
