Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial mechanics and maintenance, with experience in operating and troubleshooting injection molding machines. This role requires a keen understanding of programmable logic controllers, hydraulics, and precision measuring instruments to ensure the production of high-quality components.

Duties

Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery, including hydraulic systems and electrical components. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLC) for machine operation and adjustments. Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure product specifications are met. Maintain accurate records of production data and machine performance using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Collaborate with technical sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide exceptional customer service. Adhere to safety protocols while operating scissor lifts and other equipment within the manufacturing facility. Analyze schematics and technical documents to assist with machine setup and repairs. Provide field service support as needed, demonstrating strong analysis skills in diagnosing issues.

Qualifications

Proven experience in an industrial mechanic or maintenance role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge, including experience with welding, HVAC/R systems, and electrical work (low/high voltage). Proficiency in using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment for electrical diagnostics. Familiarity with injection molding processes and machinery is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Military experience is a plus but not required. Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on safety and quality assurance.
