One of our top manufacturing companies are looking for a Plant Controller!!

Description: The Controller is responsible for managing all financial and accounting policies, procedures, and operations. This includes the creation of periodic financial reports, a comprehensive control framework and budgets to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of reported financial results and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. The Controller is empowered to measure the company\xe2\x80\x99s operating performance, identify potential weakness in financial and management control systems throughout the company, and initiate improvement programs. In all tasks, it is the responsibility of the Controller to remain independent, unbiased, and balanced.
This position will coordinate with the European Controller as needed to provide analysis and reporting.
Main Objectives:
1. Leads monthly accounting close process and timely and accurate reporting of financial statements for USA & SA operations.
2. Leads the preparation and creation of the annual operating budget and periodic forecasts.
3. Ensures US GAAP reporting and accounting for operations.
4. Provides insightful reporting and analysis for business decision support, including maintaining the KPI dashboards in the ERP system, capital appropriation request analysis and quoting support.

Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 University degree in Accounting or Finance
\xc2\xb7 Manufacturing experience required. Automotive or textile experience preferred.
\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
\xc2\xb7 Experience with accounting and taxation regulations
\xc2\xb7 Strong written and spoken English language skills are required.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with managing a team of 3-5 direct reports.
\xc2\xb7 Technology savvy and experience with an integrated ERP system required.
