Pickleball Open Play Coordinator

Position Summary

The Pickleball Open Play Coordinator ensures a smooth, fun, and fair open play experience for all Matrix players and guests. This role combines leadership on the court with great customer service at the concession area. The ideal candidate enjoys an active environment, communicates well, maintains a positive attitude, and is confident enforcing rules when needed.

Available Shifts

Monday 5 pm - 10 pm Wednesday 5 pm - 10 pm Thursday 5 pm - 10 pm Saturday 8 am - 12 pm Sunday 9 am - 11 am and 3 pm - 5 pm

Key Responsibilities

Monitor open play sessions and ensure players follow Matrix rules and rotations Enforce rules and handle disputes diplomatically Engage with players to create a welcoming, inclusive environment Keep members happy and energized through a positive attitude and professional approach Serve players at the concession area and handle basic transactions Maintain clean, stocked, and organized court and concession areas Communicate feedback, issues, and updates to management

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Customer service or hospitality experience preferred Basic knowledge of pickleball rules and open play etiquette Ability to work evenings and weekends

Compensation and Perks

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
