Physical Therapy Technician

Exercise Specialist/Physical Therapy Technician Tasks:

Support Therapists

: Assist in setting up and monitoring daily exercise treatments based on the therapist's plan of care.

Equipment Setup

: Learn to set up and assist patients on a variety of equipment, including machine weights and aerobic conditioning devices, all as part of personalized treatment plans.

Data Entry & Administrative Support

: Maintain accurate patient records, marketing materials, and patient information.

Clinic Cleanliness & Organization

: Keep the therapy area tidy, follow cleaning protocols, and take the initiative to organize when patient assistance is not required.

Customer Service

: Answer phones, take referrals, pre-authorize visits, and provide additional support with front desk or billing duties as needed.

Teamwork

: Assist other clinics or departments as necessary, always staying flexible and willing to pitch in where needed.
