Overview

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist in Annandale, VA

$20,000 sign-on bonus

Our Annandale outpatient orthopedic and neuro-physical therapy center is looking for a compassionate and driven licensed Physical Therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences. This facility is an outpatient neuro center and you are expected to have an interest in neuro and be willing to treat our neuro population. We can train but previous neuro experience is preferred.

We treat a diverse caseload of teens through geriatrics offering general orthopedics, neurological, and vestibular rehabilitation services. We can consider physical therapists with experience and are also able to consider new graduate physical therapists at this clinic. We have a multiple therapists on our team in Annandale making it a great environment for a NEW graduate looking for an ortho and neuro mix with solid support and mentorship as you gain experience.

Schedule: Mon-Fri, with two evenings working until 6pm

Compensation: Salaried, commensurate wth experience

Qualifications

Required Credentials:

• Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Physical Therapy
• Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift patients using biomedical techniques frequently throughout the course of a work day/shift. Must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone.
• Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day/shift.
• Visual acuity (near and distant) sufficient to maintain accurate records, recognize people, and understand written direction.
• Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and give directions.
• Ability to push wheeled equipment throughout the facility.
• Fine motor skills adequate for scheduling and preparing patients, equipment, and supplies for treatment.
• Ability to participate in sustained activities for many hours in duration in accordance with state labor laws.
