Job Description

The PharmacyWarehouse Specialist assists supervisor in planning, organizing and monitoring the receiving, and housing of supplies, raw material, etc., ensuring a smooth and consistent operation. The supervisor and/or warehouse specialist makes sure that all goods are located, housed, and distributed properly to departments needing material in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \xe2\x97\x8f Receives all incoming shipments from commercial vendors. \xe2\x97\x8f Exceptional attention through organizational practices with all company inventory \xe2\x97\x8f Reconciles inventory within company software and dispenses inventory to correct department upon arrival. \xe2\x97\x8f Maintains and secures multiple warehouses of inventory, keeps accurate records of overstock on hand and manages the logistics of incoming purchase orders. \xe2\x97\x8f Sorts, counts, and logs inventory received; stages overstock inventory per WPH standards. \xe2\x97\x8f Manages the distribution of inventory throughout company departments and logs activity within PK and/or other software. \xe2\x97\x8f Performs routine audits of inventory through cycle counts. \xe2\x97\x8f Manages daily picking and kitting of batches needed to produce finished goods. \xe2\x97\x8f Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards. \xe2\x97\x8f Leads, guides, and trains employees performing related work. \xe2\x97\x8f Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. GENERAL \xe2\x97\x8f Expected to conduct oneself in a professional, respectful manner in the workplace. \xe2\x97\x8f Expected to follow all policies as set forth by the company and supervisor or manager. \xe2\x97\x8f Expected to manage time effectively, if workload is low and employee is not able to identify items to do, employee should reach out to supervisor for direction. \xe2\x97\x8f Always maintains a professional appearance. \xe2\x97\x8f All daily assigned work must be completed by the end of the shift. EDUCATION High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
