Civic Center Pharmacy is currently looking for a self-motivated and driven individual to add to our Sterile and Non-Sterile Pharmacy Technician team.

Responsibilities:

Compounding technician shall have knowledge of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures

Compounding technician will be responsible for knowledge of USP guidelines

Sterile compounding may include but is not limited to the compounding of injectables and ophthalmic drops

Standards for accuracy, pharmaceutical elegance and potency shall be consistently met

Compounds, fills, and labels compounded prescriptions

Monitors inventory levels for re-order of depleting inventory or expiring chemicals, and receives additional inventory

Performs daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning using appropriate disinfectants and techniques

Performs environmental monitoring and validation testing according to policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements for the Pharmacy Technician opportunity:

High School Diploma

PTCB Certification

Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy

Must be friendly, hardworking, adaptable, and proactive

One Year of Pharmacy Compounding Pharmacy Experience, Sterile and Non-Sterile compounding
