We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations within a hospital setting, ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to patients.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. Ensure accurate medication administration by verifying prescriptions and patient information. Maintain an organized pharmacy environment by managing inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Process medication orders and assist with the compounding of pharmaceuticals as needed. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions from healthcare professionals and patients regarding medications and pharmacy services. Collaborate with healthcare teams in critical care settings to support patient treatment plans effectively. Document all pharmacy activities accurately to maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred; relevant experience in a hospital or acute care setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmacy practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
