Looking for Pharmacy Technician/ Cashier with one to two years of experience Position needs to be filled ASAP Must be registered with Board of Pharmacy OR in process Job Duties: Will be required to fill the prescriptions under the supervision of the Pharmacist by obtaining correct information from patients and medical personnel. Take care of customers over the phone and in person with good customer services. Take care of the customers coming to pick up or drop off the prescriptions. Contact physician\'s offices for refills or prior authorizations to ensure the customers get correct medications on time. In addition to these tasks, pharmacy technicians are responsible for:
  • Processing insurance claims
  • Organizing inventory
  • screen prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare prescriptions: retrieve, count, pour, weigh, measure, and sometimes mix the medication
  • Data entry :Shall be able to enter the prescriptions in the system
  • Trainig shall be provided on site
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Elizabeth, NJ 07201: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
  • Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Shift availability:
  • Day Shift (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
