10,000 Wags is looking for a part time Pet Care Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Supervising and assessing comfort levels of dogs and cats while staying with us.
  • Observing animal body language.
  • Maintaining safe interactions with all animals.
  • Cleaning boarding areas (incl operating a power washer).
  • Daily feeding and medication administration.
  • Setup and take down of daycare yard.
  • Health checks.
  • Taking pictures
  • Multiple walks of up to 1 mile each.
  • Supervising Play Groups of 3-10 Dogs
Position will be part time but has potential to grow into a full-time position. Must be a reliable team player, KIND to animals and people, punctual, detail-oriented, hardworking, flexible and able to take direction. While the position does entail playing and interacting with animals - cleaning and hard work come with the job.
