We are accepting applications for

Seasonal Alternative Vehicle Delivery Drivers

. THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION WITH THE OPPORTUNITY FOR EMPLOYMENT AFTER THE HOLIDAY SEASON IS DONE.

The holiday season starts around the second to third week of November and ends around New Years Eve.

You use your own vehicle, insurance, and fuel to deliver FedEx packages to customers. We pay $1.50/stop for Westland and Garden City and $1.75/stop for Inkster routes. We sort packages so that only small packages are selected. You will be provided with a scanner. The first 50 miles are on you. We rarely go above that but we reimburse $0.75/mile after the first 50 miles. All vehicle-related costs are on you. No pre-qualifications are required. A drug test

IS required while applying and random drug tests are possible after being hired. You must have a good driving record and no criminal record. The start time is normally 9:15AM. If you want to use the optional app, GroundCloud, for navigation you can do so on your phone or your own tablet. FedEx requires you must be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in the USA. You will load your own vehicle. You pick your schedule by negotiating with the manager. The minimum guaranteed stop count is 30 stops/day. The bigger your vehicle is, the more stops you can deliver. You can choose to deliver more than one route per day. Average stop count is 40-60 stops per route. Takes 2-3 hours normally.

A background check will be done at our expense. We pay $25 if you refer somebody and that person works 30 days with us.

We require the following type of vehicles under 10000 pounds

1) Full-size sedan

2) SUV

3) Minivan

4) Pickup Truck with covered back (tonneau cover)

We will train you. Sprinter vans, commercial passenger, or any cargo vehicles are not allowed.

No small vehicles.

We will need pictures of your vehicle, plus the year, make, and model for FedEx approval prior to hiring. Vehicle

be registered and insured in applicants name.

Benefits:

This is a W2 position and taxes are deducted at source. You will be paid via direct deposit on Fridays.
