J Marie Skin Studio is seeking a talented and detail-oriented

Permanent Makeup Specialist

to join our team in Longmont, Colorado. The ideal candidate is passionate about enhancing natural beauty through advanced techniques such as microblading, powder brows, lip blush, and eyeliner tattooing. This role requires precision, artistry, and a deep understanding of skin health and safety standards. As part of our collaborative and client-focused environment, you'll provide customized, confidence-boosting results while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and client care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform a full range of permanent makeup services, including brows, eyeliner, and lips, with precision and artistry. Conduct in-depth client consultations to assess goals, skin type, and desired results. Educate clients on pre- and post-procedure care to ensure safety and optimal results. Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized workspace in full compliance with health and safety regulations. Accurately document treatments, pigments used, and client consent forms. Stay current on industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities. Collaborate with team members to ensure an exceptional, consistent client experience. Uphold J Marie Skin Studio's brand standards and commitment to professionalism and client care.

Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience performing permanent makeup procedures (brows, eyeliner, lips, etc.). Proven expertise in color theory, skin anatomy, and pigment application techniques. Experience with microblading, powder brows, and/or combination brow methods preferred. Strong portfolio demonstrating precision, artistry, and natural-looking results. Familiarity with Colorado health and safety regulations for body art and permanent cosmetics. Excellent client communication and consultation skills. Experience working in a spa, med spa, or cosmetic studio setting is highly desirable. Commitment to ongoing education and staying current with industry trends and certifications.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
