Job Description

The Montana Department of Transportation is recruiting for a Pavement Management Supervisor. This position is responsible for the collection and analysis of pavement conditions and imagery data for the Department. Further responsibilities are managing up to six staff, overseeing specialized testing equipment and information systems to deliver quality data, analysis, and recommendations for network-level decision making. This position brings value to the agency by facilitating data-driven decision making for the selection and development of highway improvement projects. The position reports to the Pavement Analysis Engineer.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

The required knowledge and skills are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in business, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related curriculum.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering, asset management, information system management, project management, or pavement management.

Minimum of 1 year of supervision, or team lead experience.

Other combinations of related work experience and education may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

This agency may use a training assignment. Employees in training assignments may be paid below the base pay established by the agency pay rules. Conditions of the training assignment will be stated in writing at the time of hire.
