PURPOSE OF JOB: To complete an accurate patient registration for Emergency department services

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
-
Accurately identify the patient and select the patient\'s medical record
-
Complete an accurate registration at the time of service, verifying all data fields with patient
-
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits at the time of service using automated resources and document accurately
-
Identify and collect patient\'s copayment for Emergency services as applicable
5. Complete all required forms and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
Job Qualifications:
V. QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School or equivalent is required
-
Experience: Hospital/Insurance experience preferred
-
Other Skills: Excellent Customer Service Skills
Negotiation and Problem Solving Skill
Ability to prioritize and multi task
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to work productively as a team
