Part-time Monday, Wednesday and Thursday position working with children and parents. Hours are daily, 8:45 am-5:15 pm, and able to fill in other days when needed.

The Children's Museum of Idaho brings children, families, and the community together to engage in learning through creative play.

The

Visitor Services Assistant

supports the Children's Museum of Idaho's non-profit mission by providing exceptional customer service that ensures all visitors, children, clients, and CMI members have a pleasurable and memorable experience. The Visitor Services Assistant enhances the museum experience by helping visitors to engage in exhibits and providing a clean environment. This position works during public hours and after-hours events. The Visitor Services Assistant is part of the front-line services team that upholds the museum's exceptional customer service standards of safety, courtesy, cleanliness, and efficiency.

This position spends a large amount of their shift walking, bending, cleaning toys and organizing. Assists with setting up and cleaning up Birthday Parties.

Most important is dependability and must LOVE children!

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Floor monitoring Provides exceptional service in face-to-face and phone contact with museum visitors. Willing to engage with children and parents Front desk cashier and selling memberships Cleans and organizes ongoing exhibit areas Assists in opening and closing the museum, including outdoor areas. Maintains a solid attendance record and adheres to policies at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
