Position Overview:


We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and dynamic Client Service Representative (CSR) to be the first point of contact of our clients and an integral part of our growing team, You will coordinate a wide range of administrative and support tasks, ensure smooth and professional communication between clients and the veterinary team, and help deliver a five-star experience to every pet parent and their beloved pet.

This is a part-time, non-exempt position offering three shifts per week, on Wednesdays (9:00AM to 6:30PM), Fridays (9:00AM to 6:30PM), and Saturdays (7:45AM to 2:30PM).

While we aim to provide a consistent schedule, flexibility is important as we continue to grow as a team.

Responsibilities:


Client Service & Communication

Provide exceptional client experiences through phone, text, email, and in-person communications. Educate pet owners on pet care, services, and hospital offerings. Cultivate positive relationships with clients and escalate concerns to appropriate team members. Schedule appointments for veterinary visits, consultations, surgery, or other needed services. Complete financial transactions and manage medical finances with professionalism and discretion.
Patient Support

Safely and reliably assist with animal care when necessary. Support medical teams by obtaining histories, weights, and additional patient information. Assist with hospital admissions, including verify consent forms, patient information, current contact information, medication instructions, fasting status, etc. Provide basic education on dog handling, animal anatomy, training methods, products, services, and aseptic techniques when applicable.
Technology & Record Management

Field and manage multi-line phone systems and electronic communications. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records in cloud-based veterinary softwares. Troubleshoot office equipment issues (computers, printers, scanners, payment terminals, etc) as needed.
Facility Care

Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized environment for pets, clients, and team members. Adhere to OSHA regulations for workplace safety and cleanliness.

Position Details:



Part-Time Employment Wednesdays (9:00AM to 6:30PM), Fridays (9:00AM to 6:30PM), & Saturdays (7:45AM to 2:30PM)

Qualifications:



Required

3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience. Proficiency in handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong technology skills; experience with multiple software. High emotional intelligence, conflict resolution skills, and a passion for helping others. Ability to communicate compassionately and confidently with clients and veterinary professionals. Strong personal accountability, organization, attention to detail, and commitment to follow through.
Preferred

1+ years of veterinary, kennel, laboratory, healthcare or pet care experience. Experience with ezyVet or similar veterinary practice software.
