JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory Program in the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a commitment to teamwork to support the Swift Principal Investigator and Flight Operations Teams for up to 40 hours per week (during the academic Summer) and 24 hours per week (during the academic year) in the Flight Operations of the Swift project. Job duties include:

• Support the Swift Flight Operations Team in operating the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory.
• Conduct operational studies of the Swift satellite performance based on data collected for Swift science, engineering, and housekeeping data.

A B.S. in Engineering is required. Selected candidate will report to Dr. John Nousek. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
