Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and residential spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal Use specialized equipment for floor care such as buffing machines and floor scrubbers to maintain high-quality surfaces Conduct janitorial tasks like restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting to uphold hygiene standards Assist with custodial responsibilities including stocking supplies and maintaining cleaning inventory Support facilities maintenance by addressing minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention Engage in industrial cleaning tasks when necessary, ensuring large-scale areas are spotless and safe Maintain detailed logs of cleaning activities and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or residential environments Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies Ability to perform facilities maintenance tasks efficiently and safely Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness standards Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and operating cleaning machinery for extended periods Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly

Pay: $20.93 - $23.00 per hour
