About the Role:
Parts Counter Sales
This is the customer-facing side of the job, where you are the first point of contact for retail and wholesale customers. The focus is on providing excellent service and expert advice.
Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone, answering their questions and helping them find the right parts.Sales & Product Knowledge:
Identify customer needs, recommend specific parts, and explain product features, benefits, and warranties.Order Processing:
Use the computer system (POS) and catalog to look up parts, process transactions (cash, card, etc.), and create invoices.Problem-Solving:
Resolve customer issues and ensure they leave satisfied with their purchase and experience.Inventory / Stock
This function is critical for the store's operations, ensuring that the right parts are available and the stockroom is well-maintained.
Receiving & Stocking:
Unload and receive incoming shipments, checking for discrepancies or damages.Organization:
Put away new merchandise neatly and accurately on shelves and in the stockroom.Order Fulfillment:
Pull parts from the shelves for both customer orders and internal delivery requests.Maintenance:
Assist with general store maintenance and housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing the sales floor and stockroom.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
