THE OPPORTUNITY

We are searching for a Parts Manager In Training to join our growing operations. The Parts Manager in Training will develop knowledge and skills by working alongside experienced Parts Managers as several Louisiana Cat locations. This position will learn how to deliver excellent customer service and how to manage all aspects of the Parts Department.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Gain as much knowledge as they can about the dealership environment so that they may become capable of assuming a future managerial position
• Receive training and perform duties in several departments such as Sales, Service, Operations, Parts or other Corporate Functions
• Learn company policies that affect business
• Observe experienced staff and gain knowledge about procedures, methods and standards that are required for performing departmental duties
• Work independently on computer and web-based training

THIS POSITION IS BEST SUITED FOR SOMEONE

• Seeking to gain as much knowledge and practical experience as possible during the training period
• Who is mature, adaptable, a quick learner and is a positive team player
• That has good people skills which will enable him/her to effectively gain from the expertise of the various persons working in the organization
• With proficient computer skills, namely MS Office Suite
• Who can demonstrate a capacity for developing strong business and sales strategy acumen
• With strong communication and problem solving skills
• Who can manage multiple tasks
• Able & willing to travel and/or relocate

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS

• REQUIRED: Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university
• REQUIRED: Developed communication skills both verbal and written
• REQUIRED: Proficient computer skills

JOB FACTS

• The Parts Manager in Training will require extensive travel throughout the state of Louisiana.
• SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7-5:30 with some Saturdays required
