We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part Time Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Part Time Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Take food and beverage orders accurately using Toast POS systems. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, while upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, including basic math for checks and tips. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and maintain positive guest relations. Assist with hosting duties when necessary, including managing reservations through OpenTable.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests. Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards. Basic math skills for cash handling and check processing are essential. Culinary experience or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
