Job Title:

Part-Time Security Guard

Pay Rate:

$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

Weekends, Evenings, and Midnight Shifts (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Security Guard to protect company personnel and asset. This role includes monitoring entrances and exits, conducting perimeter checks, and supporting logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of security experience and be comfortable working independently during nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor building entrances, exits, gates, and parking areas. Conduct regular perimeter checks and patrols of company property. Watch over personnel and company assets to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems. Weigh and monitor trucks, ensuring shipping weights match documentation. Collaborate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure secure and accurate operations. Answer incoming phone calls and take messages, including call-ins and shift updates. Respond to incidents and coordinate with local police or fire departments when necessary. Maintain detailed logs and incident reports. Ensure compliance with company safety and security protocols. Remain unarmed while performing duties.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of security experience. Strong observational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight shifts. Comfortable using surveillance equipment and basic computer systems. Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive situations calmly. Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.

Additional Information:

This is a part-time position with flexible shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours). Weekend and overnight availability is required.

Pay Range:


18.90 - 23.10
