Job Overview

We are seeking two dedicated and detail-oriented Janitors to join our team in Boardman. A valid drivers license is required for this position. Those without a valid drivers license need not apply. The shift is currently from 7am to 3:30pm and the positions are for 2-3 days a week and 4-5 days a week. Pay may increase based on performance after probationary persiod.

The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the I-84 rest area near Boardman for 7 days a week between the two of them, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. Janitors work independently but there is another staff person at the rest area during the shift so you are not alone at the site. Applicants should live within 30 miles of the Boardman rest area. we will not consider applicant who live out of state.

Duties

(Both Eastbound and Westbound facilities, utilizing a company pickup)

Maintain cleanliness and stocking supplies in restrooms. Emptying trash cans along the sidewalks. Picking up litter on the grounds and in the parking lots. Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly. Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Skills

Valid drivers license is mandatory. Cleaning experience is preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy trash bags onto the pickup effectively. Ability to work independently. Strong communication skills to interact with staff and management effectively.
