Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support within our chiropractic practice. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology, and the ability to assist in patient assessments and intake processes.

Duties

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and ensure a welcoming environment. Conduct patient intake by gathering medical history and relevant information. Assist the chiropractor during patient assessments and treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and wellness strategies. Manage scheduling and follow-up appointments to enhance patient care continuity. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, equipment, and supplies. Address patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assist in patient assessments effectively. A kinesiology background is a plus. This role is heavy on teaching therapeutic exercises to patients prescribed by the doctor. You must know the human anatomy and proper cueing for exercises. Familiarity with medical terminology to communicate accurately within the clinical environment. Strong patient service skills with a focus on providing excellent care. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining confidentiality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
