About the Opportunity
A well-established, full-service law firm with over 35 years of experience is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support two attorneys in its Boise office. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with experience in business, transactional, or corporate law who enjoys variety, client contact, and meaningful collaboration.
You'll play a key role in keeping the practice running smoothly - managing calendars, assisting with legal documents, coordinating billing, and supporting client and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
Manage attorney calendars: schedule, reschedule, and coordinate appointments and virtual meetings (Teams).
Handle filing and document management using Clio.
Review incoming client documents and mail.
Create and manage client matters, run conflict checks, and maintain contact records.
Billing & Financial Tasks
Review and edit pre-bills, transfer time entries, and ensure compliance with firm billing guidelines.
Coordinate billing with accounting and prepare client invoices.
Client & Legal Work
Draft and revise legal documents, including letters, agreements, deeds, and loan documents.
Conduct factual and property research related to client matters.
Assist in company formation and maintenance (filings, EIN applications, governance documents).
Marketing & Presentations
Prepare and update attorney bios, transaction lists, and presentation materials.
Coordinate logistics for attorney and real estate broker presentations.
Track and apply for presentation approvals with the Idaho Real Estate Commission.
Technology & Compliance
Maintain Outlook contacts and communication lists.
Manage desktop access to historical files and create form templates.
Track and submit CLE materials for Idaho and Oregon bar requirements.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a business or transactional practice.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Experience with Clio or similar case management software preferred.
Familiarity with legal billing, entity formation, and document management.
Bachelor's degree or completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program (preferred).
