We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a diverse range of legal practice areas, including estate planning, family law, and real estate.
The ideal candidate will possess strong research skills, legal drafting abilities, and experience with case management systems. This position provides vital administrative and substantive support to attorneys and clients while ensuring efficient case progression and document management.
Duties
Manage and organize legal case files using document management systems such as iManage, LexisNexis, Westlaw, and PCLaw.
Conduct comprehensive legal research across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and litigation.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, discovery requests, and correspondence with precision and adherence to legal standards.
Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and completeness; proofread and edit drafts for clarity and correctness.
Assist attorneys with case preparation by gathering evidence, organizing exhibits, and summarizing depositions or transcripts.
Conduct client interviews and gather relevant case information with professionalism and confidentiality.
Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, court dates, and document submissions to ensure timely case progression.
Perform administrative tasks including data entry, filing (physical and electronic), document review, transcription, and maintaining case calendars.
Provide executive administrative support such as managing communications via phone with proper etiquette and coordinating meetings or appointments.
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow within the law office environment.
Requirements
Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, tribal law & regulations, patent law; familiarity with litigation processes is preferred.
Proficiency in legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw; experience with legal case management software like iManage is highly desirable.
Knowledge of document review protocols and legal drafting standards; excellent proofreading skills required.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience with project management within a legal setting; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with contract review and document management systems; data entry skills are essential.
Excellent communication skills including professional phone etiquette; clerical experience is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $23.83 - $28.69 per hour
