Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Coordinator to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will support the Trademark Department with various administrative and project-oriented tasks. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, efficient, and a team player, with excellent organizational and accountability skills.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Perform a variety of complex project oriented, administrative matters and responsibilities on behalf of Trademark Department, both internally and externally.

• Support practice area on multiple day-to-day responsibilities and administrative tasks.

• Work independently and serve as a key team contributor for special nonrecurring and ongoing projects, including time sensitive and high-profile practice area projects.

• Manage calendars, as well as schedules, and organize complex activities such as department calendars, meetings, travel, conferences and related activities across the Department.

• Manage expenses.

• Work in matter management and e-billing software.

• Investigate, analyze, and recommend process improvements to a broad range of problems with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the key concepts, principles, methods and tools associated with the role and practice area.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Advanced communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to professionally communicate with a wide variety of individuals, respond to inquiries, and provide feedback in a timely manner.

• Coordinate and answer correspondence and assemble highly confidential and sensitive information.

• Establish, develop, maintain and update electronic and paper filing systems for the Department.

• Interact with a diverse group of external advisors, attorneys, consultants and visitors, as well as internal contacts at all levels of the company.

Preferred Qualification(s) and Desired Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate and 4+ years of relevant work experience

• Knowledge of electronic invoicing and filing systems.

• Ability to work independently where appropriate and also work well within a team environment.
• Demonstrate capacity and interest in developing new skills and learning emerging technologies.

• High level of professionalism, good judgment, and ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.

• Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, accurate, and act with a sense of urgency when needed.

Compensation Overview: Princeton - NJ - US: $77,440 - $93,833
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee's work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:
Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture.
