Job Description
Workers must have at least three months of experience in painting techniques The type of work in which painting, construction, and maintenance workers will engage is nonagricultural. Pepe\xe2\x80\x99s painting is solely engaged in the painting of commercial, residential, and cooperative structures. Workers will paint walls, equipment, buildings, and other structural surfaces, using brushes, rollers, and spray guns. They may also remove old paint to prepare surfaces before painting, mix colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency, fill cracks, holes, or joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives. Workers may also cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting, smooth surfaces, using sandpaper, scrapers, brushes, steel wool, or sanding machines. Workers should read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors or homeowners to determine work requirements. Workers will supply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats when painting new construction homes or buildings. Workers must be able to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs. Job Types: Full-time, Temporary Salary: From $19.65 per hour Schedule:
