Painter Tends high volume low-pressure (HVLP) and pump-style spray guns that coat large towing equipment with topcoat and paint. Primarily prepares, paints, and finishes surfaces of wrecker components and other manufactured products. Key Responsibilities: + Sands and prepares surface for painting. + Builds topcoat thickness of high gloss finish.
+ Use of power spray equipment, including spray guns, to apply primer, paint, and clear coats, ensuring an even and consistent application.
+ Inspect products before, during, and after the paint process to ensure all specifications are met.
+ Clean and maintain all painting equipment.
+ Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
+ Follows company procedures and displays a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks.
+ Demonstrates ability to follow instructions from supervisor and team leader.
+ Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent experience. + Proven experience as painter preferably in a manufactory setting. + Proficient in setting up, using and maintaining gravity fed HVLP guns and pump style spray systems. + Keen technique for detail and color-matching to achieve a flawless high-quality finish. + Comprehension of technical documentation and instructions to ensure correct mixing ratios and application methods. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is: + Regularly required to talk and hear. + Required to stand, walk, climb, sit, balance, stoop, kneel and/or crouch.
+ Frequently required to use fingers, hands, and arms to handle and reach.
+ Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
+ Required to wear a full face respirator with filtration during paint operations.
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Beginning on 91 st day one of employment unless stated otherwise) + Day Shift opportunities available Second shift employees receive a $1.50/hr premium (where applicable) + 4-on 4-off schedule; off half of the weekends during the year
