Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto painting and vehicle maintenance, with the ability to work meticulously and efficiently. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle various painting tasks on vehicles, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary. Apply paint using spray guns and other tools, ensuring even coverage and adherence to quality standards. Perform buffing and detailing of painted surfaces to achieve a smooth finish. Conduct auto estimating for paint jobs, providing accurate assessments of time and materials needed. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks associated with vehicle painting. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in auto painting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks. Proficient in using power tools related to painting and detailing processes. Experience with auto glass installation or repair is a plus. A commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment is essential.
