Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Painter, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through your craftsmanship and artistic vision.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary. Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Mix paints and other materials to achieve desired colors and textures. Follow blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate application. Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals on remodeling projects. Perform caulking and drywall repairs as needed prior to painting. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary.

Skills

Proficiency in various painting techniques and tools. Experience with drywall installation and repair. Knowledge of caulking methods for sealing gaps. Familiarity with concrete finishing processes is a plus. Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities. Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Experience working on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.

Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour
