Owner Support Specialist Crop Nutrients This is a hybrid position with approximately 50% in office and 50% remote work. This role supports the WInfield United Crop Nutrients division by providing internal and external customer service, administrative support and relationship management to the sales team and direct to customers to facilitate the execution of sales contract fulfillment from point of sale through shipping and customer invoicing. Sales Contract Management & Customer Service
  • Sales contract entry
  • Assignment of sales contracts
  • Timely resolution of release numbers/loading issues
  • Reconciliation of sales contracts
  • Customer inquiries for invoice copies, explanation of BOLs, statements, etc.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and facilitate new customer account setup
  • Ensure timely sales contract fulfillment, extension when applicable, and closure
On Call Responsibilities
  • Support all sales, procurement and logistics teams during on-call times including weekends, evenings and holidays outside normal office hours
Invoicing
  • Timely and accurate processing of supplier direct shipment invoicing and customer invoicing from WU inventories
Customer Relations
  • Responsible for maintaining a positive working relationship with customers and providing support for after-the-sales administration and execution of fertilizer contracts
  • Back-up sales support for assigned sales reps
Support for the business unit
  • Requires communication with procurement, owner support, transportation, sales and customers to execute contract fulfillment
  • Provide support to internal staff with requests and other responsibilities as needed
Education/experience/skills required:
  • High school degree or higher
  • Associated degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of related experience in customer service or operations
  • Ability to build relationships with key customers inside and outside of the organization to enhance the levels of cooperation, collaboration and trust
  • Ability to work with and communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Strong decision making, problem solving and communication skills
  • Ag experience is preferred
