We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various types of truck driving. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction while managing the transportation of freight across designated routes.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain a tractor-trailer, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Execute route driving to deliver goods in a timely manner while adhering to schedules.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
Manage documentation related to deliveries, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Strong understanding of freight handling procedures including loading and unloading techniques.
Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps for efficient route planning.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
