Job Overview: We are looking for an individual with 7+ years of experience in all aspects of CATV Outside Plant activation, testing, maintenance, and construction with at least 3 years of supervisory experience to lead our technical initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage in house and subcontracted resources performing outside plant (OSP) activation, testing, maintenance, and management of construction projects.
  • Conduct OSP safety and project meetings.
  • Interface with business partners to coordinate schedules, plans and risks.
  • Accurately forecast resource requirements based on completion deadlines.
  • Conduct and manage quality control to ensure projects are executed safely to high standards that align with specifications.
  • Forecast, order and manage material usage requirements.
  • Manage process of collecting, reviewing and distributing deliverables.
  • Maintain relationships with business partners, subcontractors, owners, clients, management and co-workers.
  • Service the client in a timely and respectful manner, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
  • Ensure industry standards are met or exceeded while using proper techniques.
  • Ensure that stakeholders are informed of project progress, issues and projected completion dates.
  • Assure the timely completion and submission of all proof of work documentation and daily reports.
  • Participate in accident investigations with operations fleet and safety departments. Determine degree of prevent-ability and coach employees on company standards for safety.
  • Assist with fleet maintenance program to assure proper usage and cost control.
  • Mentor Field employees to enable developmental growth.
  • Lead and develop the team, providing oversight, vision and long-term direction.
  • Handles progressive discipline to employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Document all field changes and note them on the record set of \xe2\x80\x9cas built\xe2\x80\x9d drawings.
  • Daily Project Oversight.
  • Payroll and Job costing support.
  • People/Equipment management.
  • Safety plan implementer.
  • HR Liaison.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of CATV Outside Plant experience preferred and minimum 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of HFC plant, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
  • Understanding all facets of fiber and coax testing and deployment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in technical field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Must pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check.
  • Must possess a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license for at least 2 years.
