We are a busy and well-established ophthalmology clinic in Jacksonville, AR seeking a

Front Office Staff member

to join our dedicated team. This is a fast-paced environment with exceptional doctors and long-standing team members who value professionalism, efficiency, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients with a welcoming attitude and check them in and out Verify insurance coverage and ensure patient information is accurate Explain medical and vision insurance coverage to patients clearly Answer multi-line phone system and respond to patient inquiries Schedule appointments appropriately based on urgency Prepare, pull, and file paper charts (

non-electronic system

) Cross-train and assist with other roles within the clinic as needed Perform other clerical or administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

1+ year medical office experience preferred

1 + year insurance verification preferred

Proficient in multitasking, computer use, and medical terminology Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance Excellent attendance, punctuality, and communication skills Calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations Experience with multi-line phone systems Must provide

2-3 professional references

Must live within

commutable distance to Jacksonville, AR
