At Peak Vision Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional eye care and a personalized experience for our patients. We are a small family business in an amazing location in Newtonville. Our small but mighty team is looking for a valuable addition to help manage our growing patient base. We are committed to helping our patients achieve their best vision while delivering top-notch customer service in a welcoming environment. You will play a key role in assisting our clients with scheduling appointments, verifying their insurance eligibility, and placing orders. There will be opportunities to cross-train in different areas of the practice, including optical skills, pre-testing for eye exams, and setting up dry eye procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage reception duties, including answering the phone, greeting patients and checking them in.

- Assist with optical and contact lens sales.

- Book eye exam appointments and check insurance eligibility.

- Learn Crystal Patient Management software.

- Opportunities to learn optometric technician skills, optical skills, and assisting with clinical procedures.

Qualifications:

- Retail/medical and customer service experience preferred.

- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software is a plus.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Willingness to learn new processes and suggest improvements.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
