Lambert\'s Cable Splicing, LLC is an established utility contractor providing a variety of services to the telecommunications industry. These services include engineering, design, installation, and maintenance for all phases of inside and outside voice, video and data networks. We are currently recruiting for an Operator Construction for our Butler, Pa. service area.

Overview:

Lambert\'s Cable Splicing is seeking experienced, full-time Operator Construction for our Catlett, Va. service area. Successful candidate must have knowledge of established equipment operation installation procedures and techniques including the placement of poles and anchors, familiarity with wide range of tools and equipment, ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules, and operating instructions. Candidate be able to pass a background check and drug screen. We offer competitive pay and an extensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Drives and/or operates diesel or gasoline powered equipment to/from/on job-site (Backhoe, Trencher, Directional Bore, Digger Derrick, Pole/Bucket Truck)
• Property or work site restoration
• Performs general construction work (to include physical labor i.e. using hand tools, lifting materials on average up to 50 lbs, etc.) under direction of Foreman or Supervisor
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally.
• Duties may also include grounds restoration and general construction as directed by Foreman/Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years minimum experience within the Utility Construction/Maintenance industry. Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities including the demonstrated ability to successfully identify existing cable, Cable/Pole placement, and excavation preferred.
• Prior experience with installation/repair/maintenance associated with underground utilities preferred.
• Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License with no restrictions (Class A CDL preferred)
