Our established, family-owned business located in Lake in the Hills, IL is seeking a reliable, experienced Operations Administrative Assistant to support daily business operations.
This is a hands-on, detail-driven role that supports ownership directly and involves work requiring accuracy, discretion, and consistency. While the work is task-oriented, expectations are professional. This position is best suited for someone who takes pride in doing essential work correctly and reliably, rather than someone seeking a management, supervisory, or creative lead role.
Key Responsibilities:
Light package shipping of small, high-value items (often envelope-sized)
High-accuracy administrative tasks, including labeling, stapling, filing, organizing, copying, and data entry
Answering inbound phone calls and routing appropriately
Managing and ordering office and shipping supplies
Posting products online accurately and consistently
Social media support, including posting photos and short videos as directed(Content creation or strategy is not required; posting is done using provided direction and materials)
Direct support to ownership, including occasional local errands
Required Experience:
Prior professional experience in an administrative, office support, or operations role
Experience in a small business, retail, logistics, or fast-paced environment
Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and accountability
Experience with shipping, inventory, or e-commerce systems is a strong plus
Basic social media posting experience is sufficient
Schedule & Hours:
30-40 hours per week
Monday-Friday
Every other Saturday, as scheduled
Hours may vary slightly week to week based on business needs

Compensation:
$19-$22 per hour, based on experience
