Job Description




Attorney firms retained by Chase utilize Chase systems to place requests which are reviewed by Invoice Processing. Job duties include but are not limited to reviewing fee requests and following procedures, guidelines, and other policies to determine a decision. Knowledge of the bankruptcy and foreclosure process as well as familiarity with the legal process as well as investor guidelines including FNMA and FHLMC is essential.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and decision-making on fee requests submitted by attorney firms based on procedures and investor guidelines.
  • Point of contact for vendors regarding fees
  • Ensure that all SLAs are met on a daily basis

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
  • 1+ years of experience in mortgage banking, operations, or originations; specific knowledge of policies, procedures, and systems preferred - Legal experience is a plus
  • Experience with and/or willingness to learn database systems including SQL to prepare meaningful reports for management and other departments based on database queries
  • Ability to organize and report data - Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze business requirements, raise questions when needed, and take initiative to seek clarifications
  • Time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Verbal and written communication including the ability to communicate technical information at an appropriate business level - Ability to work with all management levels
