The Medicare Insurance Operations Manager plays an integral part of the growth and progress of the licensed insurance agents. This position will be responsible for increasing sale performance throughout the assigned community including hybrid and remote employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and direct the daily activities for Medicare sales for the designated community.
  • Coach, develop and provide feedback to agents and sales coaches to meet or exceed sales goals within compliance and quality guidelines and expectations.
  • Coach agents and sales coaches to protect consumer private information.
  • Assist in skills assessment by measuring and reviewing periodic performance, delivering feedback, assessing reactions, and responding appropriately to agent and sales coaches.
  • Identify needs of agents and sales coaches to ensure they have the necessary tools to provide quality service and achieve goals.
  • Analyze statistical reports and other documentation to identify trends and implement enhancements to overall performance.
  • Prepare presentations for different audiences i.e. Sales Coaches, VP of Sales & Operations etc.
  • Assist Operations Director in providing tactical planning to ensure positive interactions with clients and enhance overall operational effectiveness.
  • Make recommendations to the Operations Director for performance enhancements and implement new processes and procedures as approved
  • Manage projects to improve and achieve operational excellence.
  • Partner with Recruiting to interview new hire candidates and make hiring decisions accordingly.
  • Liaison with WFO to maintain staffing levels.
  • Develop and implement programs that enhance employee motivation and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Coach sales coaches to ensure Employee Handbook policies are adhered to including attendance.
  • Be onsite as required (if hybrid)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • 5+ Years\' experience in a Call Center operation leadership within a sales environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Health Insurance Sales License
Qualification/Skill Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Resourceful and well organized.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment and relate to all levels of staff and management and education.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 10 pounds.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • Leaders must be willing to travel, work all shifts, overtime, holidays and emergency shifts, as required
