This hourly (non-exempt), entry level position is responsible for supporting the department manager, Team Leads, and Innovation Analysts with the goal to optimize efficiencies and productivity using new strategies that will improve the company\xe2\x80\x99s output.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the improvements of existing processes and procedures including but not limited to, preparation of operational procedures, response to management initiatives, requests for system program changes and writing basic query reports throughout the department.
  • Review projects and prepare careful /data review and testing involving data query and report generation prior to enhancement implementations.
  • Provide insight and recommendations on best practices based on individual research. Support management staff by designing reports as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the department manager as well as others within the department to ensure that all activities and projects are completed efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum one year of administrative experience in an office environment required.
  • Knowledge of retail lending, mortgage loans, GSE loans and experience in loan servicing and investor reporting preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Project Lifecycle or other project related experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and a desire to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment is essential to succeed.
  • Demonstrate initiative, be resourceful and insightful, ability to work independently within a deadline and ultimately be accountable for each project.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary, which will include continual status reports to the department manager, data program specifications, preparation of procedures, and project justification reports.
  • Strong research and analytical skills required.
  • Must be professional, comfortable speaking with external and internal contacts with a demonstrated ability to effectively tailor the message appropriately to the audience and situation.
  • Maintain credibility through professional demeanor, appearance, and presence by modeling standards appropriate to our environment and industry.
  • Ability to convey thoughts and ideas effectively and succinctly via written formats, including emails, letters, and electronic platforms. Maintain professional standards relating to spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and prioritize responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess an extremely high proficiency of reporting software, word processing, and spreadsheet programs and be quick to learn new programs as introduced.
  • Aptitude for database management and query analysis is required. Prior design experience with MS Access and Power BI is preferred or candidate must be willing to be trained and become proficient.
  • Previous Power Platform experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products and applications, including the ability to effectively prepare or review documents, procedures, and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and applications, as well as the ability to understand, adapt and adjust responsibilities/workflows as a result of system upgrades.
  • This position may require periodic travel to attend in person meetings and satisfy office obligations/responsibilities.
  • Typical scheduled hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Additional hours may be required depending upon business need.
  • Punctuality is required to maintain First American Bank\xe2\x80\x99s customer service standards.
