Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our small project based Section 8 subsidized apartment community. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of property management practices, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with tenants. This role requires a proactive approach to property leasing, maintenance, and facilities management.

Duties

Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and processing applications. Oversee property maintenance by coordinating repairs and ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and compliant with safety regulations. Utilize Yardi software for tracking tenant information, rent payments, and maintenance requests, entering bills daily or upon receiptto be paid by Corporate office. Negotiate lease agreements and renewals while ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Maintain accurate administrative records related to property management activities, including filing legal documents and tenant correspondence. Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants to foster community engagement and satisfaction. Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify areas for improvement or necessary repairs.

Property Manager license is required within 90-days of hire.

Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of property leasing processes and best practices in property maintenance. Experience with facilities management to ensure efficient operation of properties. Excellent negotiation skills for lease agreements and conflict resolution. Sales acumen to effectively market properties and attract potential tenants. Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to property management, including filing necessary documentation is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple properties simultaneously. Ability to communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members in a professional manner.

Pay: $46,191.87 - $50,000.00 per year
