Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Clinicians (LGPC, LMFT, LMSW) for our Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Our OMHC provides traditional outpatient counseling and offers a wide range of mental health services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and counseling. As a Clinician, you will be a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, collaborating with medical prescribers to provide comprehensive mental health therapy to your patients. Our OMHC serves a diverse population with a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, and other mental disorders. As one of the main mental health providers for your patients, you will play a critical role in our mission to improve lives in our community.

Responsibilities:



Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including Psychosocial Assessments, and prepare assessment reports in a timely manner, consistent with iMind standards Establishes positive, trusting rapport with participants. Creates individualized treatment plans according to participant needs and circumstances long with the participant's input. Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions as outlined in the treatment plan utilizing a strength-based approach and best practice models. Collaborate with community agencies and professionals to coordinate appropriate care Develop a therapeutic relationship with the client's family and include them in the treatment process as necessary and appropriate. Complete referral for Mobile Treatment Services and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program in a timely manner. Maintains thorough records of participant meetings and progress. Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality. Serve as a client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations Other duties as required

Requirements




Must be licensed in the State of Maryland, LGPC, LMSW, LGMFT


Must have two (2) years of training or direct experience in Mental Health


Able to perform DSM-5 Diagnostic Assessments


Proficient using assessment screen tools (PHQ-A, GAD-7)


Attend all necessary training and staff meetings


Ability to engage with children and adults


Able to relate to diverse groups of people


Must have verbal and written communication skills


Must be dependable, and have the ability to work independently


Able to complete Emergency Petition when needed


Ability to educate the participant and family about diagnosis
