Job Description

The office manager is the main point of contact for Nye\xe2\x80\x99s Tree Service. They perform an array of administrative tasks, including managing phones and emails, updating company documentation, and scheduling appointments. They will support customers, managers, and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone calls and emails from customers and direct them to relevant staff
  • Greet visitors and provide general support to them
  • Handle correspondence, complaints, and queries
  • Schedule estimates, jobs, and other appointments
  • Prepare communications, such as emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence
  • Assist leadership and office staff with daily organizational tasks
  • Review and optimize office policies and procedures, particularly documentation and filing system
  • Collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system
  • Communicate with previous clients and customers to request a price and arrange payment plans
  • Submit requests for permits and Blue Stakes
  • Maintain registration for vehicles and mobile equipment
  • Arrange safety inspections and aerial inspections for vehicles
  • Provide talent acquisition and employee management support
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Experience working in an office environment, administrative or office assistant experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
  • Organization and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks
  • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, and accept instructions, among other tasks
  • Flexibility to help them adjust to new tasks should the company or office needs to change.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Proficiency in G suite
Ideal candidate will possess the following skills: Good communication skills in person and on the phone, computer skills are a must, typing (40 wpm) and can work independently Flexibility is also a must as you will be in the middle of various projects and will have customers or employees call, which will interrupt your work efforts. The ideal candidate will need to be capable of managing several different projects at the same time.

  • Salt Lake City, UT: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
  • Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)
