As an Office Manager you will Plan, direct, or coordinate one or more administrative services of an organization, such as records and information management, mail distribution, facilities planning and maintenance, custodial operations, and other office support services. The Office Manager manages front office workflow processes. Provides support to the multiple departments by performing general office duties, to include scheduling of patients, answering the phone in a professional manner, directing calls to the appropriate person, and taking messages as needed. Greets and assists patients, physicians, and visitors. Always presents self in a gracious and professional manner. Maintains patient and staff confidentiality. Provides coverage in front office by assisting with patients at the front window, scheduling patients in the EMR, placing orders in Lawson for office supplies and responsible for the monthly staff schedule. Develops and oversees daily Team member assignments. Must have thorough understanding of Diagnostic related examinations. Education and Experience
  • Associate\'s Degree (or other 2-year degree)
  • Bachelor\'s Degree
  • High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED)
  • Post-Secondary Certificate - awarded for training completed after high school (for example, in agriculture or natural resources, computer services, personal or culinary services, engineering technologies, healthcare, construction trades, mechanic and repair technologies, or precision production)
  • Some College Courses
Primary Job Duties
  • Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Set goals and deadlines for the department.
  • Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze internal processes and recommend and implement procedural or policy changes to improve operations, such as supply changes or the disposal of records.
  • Acquire, distribute and store supplies.
  • Conduct classes to teach procedures to staff.
