Pay will be based upon experience. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and management skills, with experience in office management and human resources. This role involves coordinating various administrative tasks, managing schedules, vendor relations, and supporting team development to foster an efficient work environment.

Our company has a large service area (St. Louis, the bootheel, and southern Illinois), but we are home every night with our families.
Responsibilities
Manage calendar scheduling and coordinate appointments for staff and executives
Oversee vendor management, including negotiations and maintaining professional relationships
Supervise administrative staff and provide training & development opportunities
Organize and oversee event planning for company meetings, trainings, and special events
Maintain filing systems, manage front desk operations, and operate multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
Assist with human resources tasks such as interviewing and onboarding new employees as well as maintaining personnel records
Ensure office supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained
Perform clerical duties such as data entry, document preparation, and correspondence management
Develop efficient office procedures to improve overall productivity
Experience
Proven experience in office administration or office management roles
Supervising experience with team management responsibilities highly desirable
Proficiency in calendar management tools and multi-line phone systems
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle front desk duties professionally
Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, record keeping, and schedule coordination
Prior experience in training & development within an office setting is a plus
