In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the flatbed trailer fleet off site at customer locations around the area. This work will be outside in the elements. With occasional lifting up to 80lbs. You will need to have knowledge in preventative maintenance, lightings systems and basic electrical systems repairs. Core drum brake, disc brake knowledge, ABS system knowledge along with air systems experience is required. You will also need to have experience with wheel end inspections, wheel seal replacements, bearing inspections & replacement. Along with other mechanical repairs associated with common trailer fleets (Glad hands, 7-way receptacles, landing leg repairs/replacements, etc.).
This role will require a responsible individual that will be required to work alone at times, safely, have professional manners while working directly with customers, vendors, drivers, etc.
