Capitol Management Consulting Services (CMCS) is looking for individuals in assisting our efforts supporting Housing & Urban Development (HUD) in conducting inspections for their NSPIRE program. This is a 1099, Independent Contractor opportunity.

Compensation
$550 per inspection day within a 150 mile radius of your home.
$750 per inspection day outside of a 150 mile radius.
An additional $100 per inspection day bonus after your first 200 inspections.
Responsibilities
Conduct onsite inspections of HUD sponsored properties, ensuring affirmative habitability requirements.
Accurately report any discrepancies using HUD's online portal.
Communicate with CMCS staff for inspection scheduling, in addition to any required additional training.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in housing inspections, construction, or similar trades.
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Active Driver's license.
Ability to conduct a minimum of 200 inspections per year.
Ability to clear a background check for a Public Trust.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience conducting inspections for HUD.
Recognized Home Inspector's license.
