Featured Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate drivers to join our Non-Emergency Medical Transport team. As a NEMT Driver, you will provide safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation for patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring a positive experience for individuals with mobility challenges. Key Responsibilities:

Patient Transport:

Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, ensuring comfort and punctuality.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Maintain a clean and well-organized company vehicle, ensuring it is always in safe operating condition.

Patient Assistance:

Assist patients in and out of the vehicle, if needed, ensuring they are properly secured and comfortable during the ride.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times when interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.

Qualifications

Valid Driver's License

: Must have a current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record with no major violations in the last seven years.

Background Check

: Must successfully pass a background check, including a review for felony convictions or drug-related offenses.

Drug Screening

: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Experience

: Previous experience in transportation, healthcare, or customer service is preferred but not required.

Communication Skills

: Strong verbal communication skills with a friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.

Physical Ability

: Must be able to assist passengers in and out of the vehicle and handle mobility equipment, such as wheelchairs, as needed.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
